- JAI Added November 28, 2022★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Beware!! Owner is NOT fair or GENUINE!! We had booked this place for 14 people for an April 2014 three day stay some two months in advance.
I paid the deposit via cheque and sent it off as requested to confirm my booking. Then 12 days before our arrival date I got a call from the owner who said that he cancelled our booking for 14 people in favour of a group of 20 people?? (They charge per head per night) No option, no choice and dint give a damn!
I was under the impression that when I make a booking and send the deposit (as requested and on time) means that I have secured the place for my holiday? Obviously this owner thinks that a booking and a deposit means only good until a better offer comes along…..?
Very un-Australian and extremely unprofessional! This dishonourable farm owner ruined the holiday plans of three families (for a couple extra bucks) and is a disgrace to all hard-working genuine farm owners! I hope they are happy; we certainly are not happy! I thank my luck stars for sites such as this google site that allows us to leave reviews of our experiences (via freedom of speech!) for others to make informed decisions accordingly! TRUE STORY!! - Lachlan MacDonald Added November 21, 2017★ ★ ★ ★ ★Great local pizza as well as other meals. Also has some cabin accommodation if you need to stay locally.
